Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain how the Youth Explosion platform is expected to be used, what responsibilities apply to attendees and organizers, and how access to registration, payments, and event participation is managed.
1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, registering for an event, participating in Youth Explosion, or using this platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to visitors, registrants, volunteers, attendees, speakers, administrators, and any other user of the Youth Explosion platform and related services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the platform or register for any event.
2. About the platform
This platform is operated by the New Testament Church of God Kenya Youth Ministry (NTCGK Youth Ministry) for the purpose of event communication, registration, profile management, attendance tracking, and related ministry activities. The platform supports event registration, secure login, payment processing, user account management, and email communication for Youth Explosion Season 3 and related ministry initiatives.
3. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or register for Youth Explosion events, unless a parent, guardian, or church leader provides consent and the event has specific age requirements. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your name, email address, church affiliation, and registration details. You must keep your account information secure and refrain from sharing your password or account access with others. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or submit false or misleading information.
4. Event registration and attendance
Registration is subject to availability, event capacity, and approval by the organizing team. Registration fees, if applicable, are due at the time of booking and may be processed through approved payment channels. We may restrict access, cancel a registration, or modify event details when necessary for safety, operational, or spiritual leadership reasons. Attendance is not guaranteed until payment or confirmation is complete, and any event changes will be communicated through the platform or official event contacts.
5. Payments and refunds
All fees are displayed in the applicable local currency and may be subject to applicable taxes or processing charges. Payment processing is handled through authorized third-party service providers, and by completing payment you agree to the provider's terms and conditions as well as these Terms of Service. Refund requests, if allowed, are handled according to event policy and may require a reasonable review period. We reserve the right to refuse refunds for non-refundable items, cancellations caused by the participant, or situations where a registration was processed under incorrect or fraudulent information.
6. User conduct
Users agree to use the platform lawfully, respectfully, and in a manner that does not interfere with others' experience or with the operation of the event. This includes not submitting offensive content, abusive messages, spam, fraudulent payment information, or material that violates the rights of others. We may remove or restrict content or accounts that pose a risk to the platform, attendees, or ministry operations. Any abusive conduct, harassment, impersonation, or harmful behaviour may result in removal from the event or platform.
7. Privacy and data use
Your use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection, storage, processing, and limited sharing of your personal data as described in that policy, including for registration, communication, safety, moderation, payment support, and account administration. We will not sell personal information, but we may share necessary information with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform, process payments, or deliver email communications.
8. Email communication
By creating an account or registering for an event, you agree to receive confirmations, security notices, event updates, reminders, and other ministry-related communications through email. These messages are intended to support registration, verification, event attendance, and safe communication. You may unsubscribe from non-essential updates where applicable, but important service notices and account-related messages may still be sent to maintain platform security and event coordination.
9. Intellectual property
All branding, content, designs, images, event materials, and software used on this platform are the property of NTCGK Youth Ministry or their respective owners, unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, republish, scrape, distribute, or commercialize our platform content without prior written permission. Permission to share event information for personal or ministry use may be granted when appropriate and with proper attribution.
10. Warranties and limitation of liability
The platform and its services are provided on an 'as is' basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available, accurate, and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NTCGK Youth Ministry, its leaders, volunteers, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this platform, event participation, or reliance on event information. Any legal claim shall be subject to applicable law and reasonable dispute resolution processes.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in platform functionality, legal requirements, or operational needs. When material changes are made, we will notify users through the platform or by email when appropriate. Continued use of the platform after updates are published indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Termination and suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to accounts, registration privileges, or platform features if a user violates these terms, engages in fraudulent behaviour, abuses event services, or creates risk for the platform or other attendees. Upon termination, we may retain some information as necessary for compliance, security, moderation, and event administration.
